Revisions

I think that the revision process is extremely important. I really like being able to turn in rough drafts, I feel like its kind of like a second chance. I usually try and plan out an idea in my head, and then just let the juices flow as I write. I also like to be able to have someone proof read my essays for errors and tips. I have been having alot of issues with the essay I am currently writing about poems. I had an idea in my head and at first it felt alright, but as I started writing I started getting confused and frustrated with the essay and feel that it is slightly unorganized. I think the length is the biggest issue. I feel like I need to throw in enough to make the page length, and it has instead become unorganized. Any suggestions?
