Good Readers
This passage was focused on what makes a good reader. The author Nabokov, believes that a good reader pays close attention to detail as well as to open your mind to the knowledge that is being shared. A good writer is someone who carry's a dictionary for reference, and is able to hook the reader with emotions and actions. To be a good writer you must create good voice and visual skills, and a good reader must be able to concentrate and pay attention to detail.
I would agree with Nabokov in his ideas. I believe that you are not really reading the text if you arent letting it sink in and pay attention. In order to understand material you must have an open mind. A good writer has to be able to hook a reader and make them want to learn more and continue with the amazing adventure. I consider myself to be a good reader, but need to maybe work more on my writing.

Introduction
Hello all Classmates and Viewers,
This blog has of course been completed as part of my english 102 assignements, but I wanted to introduce myself little bit first. My name is Kendra Smith, I am a sophmore and am majoring in Nursing. I attended Grand Canyon University last school year, and decided to make a switch based on my opinion of that school. I have been raised in Prescott, but live in Maine in the summers ( much cooler weather). I enjoy reading, going for walks, watching movies, hanging out with friends, and getting good grades. I strive to be get my bachelors degree in Nursing and be able to work in labor and delivery/womans health. If you want to know more about me just comment on my blog. Look forward to learning about everyone and their literary thoughts during this course.
